"DAVID COVERDALE"

David Coverdale (Saltburn, Inglaterra, 22 de setembro de 1951) é um cantor e compositor inglês.
Participou das bandas "Denver Mule" e "Skyliners" entre 1967 e 1968.
David Coverdale ficou conhecido por substituir o vocalista Ian Gillan na banda Deep Purple, em meados dos anos 70. Após o termino da banda em 76 lançou seu projeto solo David Coverdale White Snake, em 1977 saiu o segundo album solo Northwinds, em 1977 fundou o Whitesnake, grupo de hard rock que fez sucesso com os hits "Is This Love" que teve um enorme sucesso em todo o mundo, "Here I Go Again", "Love Ain't No Stranger" e "Still Of The Night", entre outras. Em 1991 resolveu dar uma pausa nos trabalho com o Whitesnake. Em 93 lançou um projeto solo intitulado Coverdale/Page com a partitipação de Jimmy Page do Led Zeppelin. Em 1997 lançou mais um albúm Restless Heart.
